Midwest Petrochemical Company Continues Track Rollout
Houston, Texas — September 2008
Management Controls, Inc. announces major Midwest petrochemical company continues Track™ implementation in 3 refineries and 6 chemical plants throughout the United Sates. This company selected Track™ in June 2007 for deployment across its refining and chemical enterprise. Implementation included integration in to the client’s instances of access control systems, MRO Software’s Maximo Enterprise Suite, and other legacy systems.
The Port Arthur and Odessa, Texas sites were the first to undergo implementation in early 2008. Completed in the latter part of 2008 were the Joliet and Peru, Illinois sites. Two Illinois refineries are the client’s first sites to implement the gate access system interface to Track™. Deployment of Track™ at in all four was completed by the companies IT team with minimal support from Management Control, Inc. Five more sites are to complete implementation in 2009.
“We worked side-by-side with the client’s IT team in a train the trainer role at the first site,” says David Bushong, the Track™ implementation consultant. “They have taken it from there and have done a great job as they rollout Track”.
