Tesoro Corporation Obtains Enterprise License for
Track™ Software
Houston, Texas — June 2008

Management Controls, Inc., creator of market-leading Track™ software announced that Tesoro Corporation has licensed Track v5.2 Enterprise software for all seven of its refineries in the western United States. Installation began in Q1 of 2008 and will wrap up in Q4 of 2008.

According to Bob Harrell, President of Management Controls, Inc., “Tesoro has chosen to host Track at its corporate IT center which will serve Track software to its seven refineries over Tesoro’s WAN. In fact, Tesoro was so pleased with the Track v5.2 solution that it is considering the use of Track to manage costs associated with professional and clerical contractors at its headquarters in San Antonio, Texas.”

Tesoro, Accenture and Management Controls, Inc. technology team jointly developed an SAP NetWeaver XI interface to Track’s NetWeaver certified Web Application Programming Interface (API) which fully integrates SAP and Track software. Track also interfaces with Lenel Systems International enterprise instance of OnGuard access control and security software that is in use at all Tesoro refineries.

The SAP/Track integration is fully operational; SAP MM purchase orders and PM work orders automatically flow into Track. The XI layer already delivers Track-generated, real-time, fully automated MM service entries and PM time confirmations to SAP. This seamless solution allowed Tesoro to achieve ERS (Evaluated Receipt Service) immediately.
