Husky Energy Licenses Track™ v5.2 for Their Lima, Ohio Refinery
Houston, Texas — October 2007

Management Controls, Inc., creator of market-leading Track™ contractor management software, announced that Husky Energy has licensed Track v5.2 for its newly acquired refinery in Lima, Ohio. Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Husky Energy Inc. is one of Canada's largest energy and energy-related companies. Husky acquired the Lima, Ohio refinery in July of 2007 from Valero Energy Corporation. Track was originally installed at the Lima refinery by its previous owners.

As part of the acquisition due diligence process, a plant-wide inventory of software systems was taken and prioritized. Soon after taking over the facility, Husky identified Track as “one of the five most important software systems” at the Lima refinery.

Implementation of Track is currently under way. When fully operational at the Husky refinery – scheduled for Q4 2007 – Track will interface with Husky’s SAP PM and MM modules for work orders and purchase orders. Track will also interface with the OnGuard access control and security solution from Lenel Systems International. The combination of SAP, Lenel and Track will provide Husky with the controls needed to effectively manage the costs of routine maintenance, capital projects and turnarounds.
