Management Controls, Inc. Announces Design Phase of
Track™ v6.0
Houston, Texas — August 2007
Management Controls, Inc., developers of innovative Track™ software, announced that it has locked down the design for Track v6.0 – the newest iteration of its market-leading project cost management product.
“Our development plans for Track v6.0 are predominantly based on features and functions requested by the Track user community throughout North America and from prospective users in other regions of the world,” says Asim Salim, who leads software development at Management Controls, Inc. “Their suggestions are foremost in our minds as we work to shape the features and functions our clients and potential clients have requested. As a result, we’re confident Track v6.0 will address our customer’s needs.”
An example of user suggestions being incorporated into Track v6.0 as a new feature, is the ability to manage multiple currencies. This is a major benefit for clients with operations around the world.
Track v6.0 will also include enterprise reporting capabilities. This will provide project managers with the data from one, many or all company-operated sites where contractors are at work.
Other features of Track v6.0 include:
- Enterprise architecture, with a single instance of the Track database supporting global operations
- Active Directory integration
- Multiple languages – beginning with German, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and French
- Full backwards compatibility with Track v5.2
- A unique module that meets the timekeeping, invoicing and management needs of contractors
Track v6.0 is slated for release in mid-2008.
